We have been in Alaska for a year and a half! Reece has finished his schooling and is currently gaining experience working in maintenance for peak oil field services. Of course things haven't gone exactly how we planned them to go, but that's life. We have enjoyed this crazy adventure of ours. The hiking, fishing, and wilderness are out of this world up here! here are some pictures to illistrate.
Well.... you get the picture. Anyway another thing you might have noticed that popped up in these pictures is we had the most beautiful amazing baby girl Mia! She is the best baby ever and i'm so glad that we were able to have her!
She is a fireball at 7 months and is so desperately trying to crawl so she can get to things she wants...which is everything! She has the most beautiful wavy hair and big brown eyes. She is hilarious to talk to and watch play. Now as I have said before things have not exactly gone according to plan. If they had we would be in Montana right now, basically a super long story short Reece graduated and the oil prices tanked, he was unable to get a job due to this and was stuck doing Roustabout work. A great job in Montana opened up after 6 months and we thought that this was our break, but turns out there is another plan for us. He is working hard and eagerly waiting for his opportunity to do what he has worked so hard for. Other side notes is we have purchased our first home and loving it, we are so greatful to everyone who has helped us and supported us through everything, we literally wouldn't be here without family and friends! thank you and we love you
